Perhaps you were one of the lucky ones who caught the first tours of SUPERSTARS TRIBUTE LIVE in April and August 2007. This amazing 90-minute extravaganza at that time visited only cities and towns in Ontario, including the home town (Timmins) of one of the artists tributed in this show, Shania Twain.
The female headliner recalls being a little nervous about appearing in Timmins. It's not easy to follow in the shadow of a megastar like Shania. Would Timmins folks like her? Would they feel she did their star justice?
Well when that day rolled around, the show was sold out and if there was one negative it was having to turn away over 100 people who wanted to see this show. As it happened, from the opening bars of "Man I feel like a Woman" which kicks off the Superstars Tribute Live show, the audience went wild and stayed wild as the show moved on through George Harrison, Patsy Cline, Buddy Holly, Marilyn Monroe, Sonny and Cher, Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond and ultimately the hot final act of the show, the "white hot" tribute to Tina Turner that brings a standing ovation to every close. Well the people of Timmins who missed the show in 2007 have another chance now in 2008, when the SUPERSTARS TRIBUTE SHOW hits the Ontario circuit again from October 24 - November 10. See the EVENT SCHEDULE on this site for full details of location and time.
But before then, the SUPERSTARS TRIBUTE LIVE TOUR will visit Canada's West between September 17 - 24th (see EVENT SCHEDULE) after a 3 day trip to Newfoundland, August 24-26. Book your tickets early so you're not disappointed.
