CRIMESTOPPERS NIAGARA BRINGS SUPERSTARS TRIBUTE LIVE SHOW
to the people of Niagara Falls in their ongoing efforts to raise needed funds for their cause.
CrimeStoppers of Niagara are another of several Crimestoppers groups in Canada who have recognized this show as an excellent means of generating revenue. The audiences pack the house and have a wonderful time during 90mins of non-stop energetic entertainment that opens with a tribute to Shania Twain. After everyone sings along to Shania's popular and well-known songs, they sway and clap along to George Harrison. Then the house becomes a held breath as Patsy Cline comes to the stage and the audience hears Patsy come alive again with "Sweet Dreams", "Crazy" and "Blue Moon of Kentucky".
The wonderful tribute to Buddy Holly follows Patsy and it's all folks can do to stop themselves from getting up on their feet and dancing as Buddy gives "Peggy Sue" and other great Buddy Holly songs. Then enter Marilyn who cheekily and sensuously takes herself down into the audience for some interaction with the men who swoon at a pat on the head or a peck on the cheek. After a 15min intermission, Sonny and Cher take over the stage for a brief comedy skit with "I've got you babe" before Cher shoos Sonny off "her" stage to come back with "Believe" and a hot costume change in "Turn back time". Wowza! She's followed by the iconic Roy Orbison with "Pretty Woman" and other favourites. Then comes Neil Diamond, turning on the ladies with swivelling hips in "Cheri Baby" and more. Tina Turner brings the show to a super hot finish with "Nutbush City", "Simply the Best" "Proud Mary" and "River Deep Mountain High". Tina is dripping wet by the end of the show but the crowd is on its feet, hot, happy and screaming for encores. What a fabulous show this is!
